Does YourShift work with organisations as well as companies?
A
Yes! In fact we have a growing client base of sports teams who are using YourShift to organize their referees and players and help manage player illness/injury as well as game time awareness.

Can I colour YourShift to fit my company colours?
A
Yes, but not directly. All you have to do is supply us with your company colours when you sign up and tell us you want your account branded and we will make sure it uses your supplied colours.

Once I sign up my organisation, do I need to download anything?
A
No. YourShift is an internet/cloud based service. Which means the system is accessed from any browser. When a company or organisation signs up, they get to choose the url name where their staff/members sign in followed by either .yourshift.co.nz or .ys.nz. For example mybusiness.ys.nz.

Can members compare shifts to each-other?
A
Yes! YourShift has a specifically designed timeline interface to show all users shifts in the selected timeline. They will be able to see who they are working with, when they are working and even who is on leave or sick.

How much control will I have over the automatic processes of finding people to work?
A
As much as you need. And whats more, you can define custom levels of automation for individual timelines. Meaning, if you wish, you can set up one timeline to work completely automatically, one using a custom amount of automatic request capability, and another to be completely manually driven. Its up to you!

Does YourShift allow for staff members to swap shifts with each other?
A
Yes, this area can be heavily configured. The ability for staff to swap with each other or cover each others shifts is possible as long as their defined skillsets match up. Approval by a manager/supervisor can also be enabled allowing staff to kick off the process, then having a final approval step to complete it.

Account Questions

If my business signs up for 20 user slots and pays for them, then we lose two staff, do we still have to pay for the extra staff slots?
A
There are two different answers for that question depending on the length of contract you are on. If you are on a yearly pre-paid contract then yes you will have to pay for the additional staff slots until your pre-paid period is up. However, if you are on a monthly plan, you can change the amount of staff associated with your account and the changes, along with the new pricing, will come into effect the following month. Keep in mind that it is cheaper to pre-pay for a year subscription that to use the month-by-month option.

If I pay for the pre-paid year and then find I no longer require YourShift, can I get a refund?
A
Once you sign up to use YourShift you automatically get a 30 day free trial of the system to make sure it does what you need. During that period you can close your account and no fees will be charged. We will not refund any costs that have been processed, however we will make sure you do not incur any future costs after you choose to close your account with us.
